Synopsis[]

S2Ep22 2

No, no, YOU WILL DIE!

Mattie, despite the pain inflicted by the holy water, once more declares her innocence in the murder of the Silas staff, lunges at Perry and throws them out of the room. The incessant screaming that ensues forces LaFontaine and Laura to rush to Perry's aid. Laura reminds Mattie of their deal not to harm anyone, prompting Mattie to attack her instead.

S2Ep22 5

You have failed me for the last time, Admiral Hollis.

Mattie begins strangling Laura, with the latter attempting to defend Perry's actions, stating that they were caused by fear. Mattie lets her go, prompting Laura to ask if Perry's okay. LaFontaine, who had been checking on her says she's passed out, but thankfully is not bleeding too badly.

S2Ep22 9

NOOOOOO! NOOOOOOO...

Carmilla tries to defuse the situation, saying no harm was done since Perry is still alive, but this explanation only angers LaFontaine. She snaps at Carmilla and another argument ensues. Laura loses it, yelling for everyone to stop fighting. Frustrated and tired as a result of the semester's events, she breaks down, demanding the fights stop until she can have some rest.

S2Ep22 16

We Are Broken - Part II.

Later that night, Carmilla is alone in the room when Laura walks in. The two begin to reminisce about their history and feelings for each other, tearfully admitting their expectations of each other are not what they want it to be, they can only take solace in the fact that despite everything else, they miss each other.

S2Ep22 21

Let The Flames Begin.

Both women wish each other goodnight. As Laura is leaving, Carmilla stops her and tells her of Mattie's weakness, so she can defend herself if Mattie attempts to kill her. She explains that the locket she wears contains a piece of her heart, which means that Mattie is invulnerable to conventional methods of being slain, but if the locket is destroyed, Mattie will fall.
