"I, Spy" is the 13th episode of Carmilla. It aired on September 11th, 2014.
Logline[]
Laura is a bit taken aback when Carmilla appears and shows a level of compassion she hasn't expressed before.
Synopsis[]
Several of Laura's viewers point out that the dreams she has been having are very similar to the ones that Natalie, a student who was previously missing, had been having. Laura is deeply unsettled by the similarity between her and Natalie, and is thus distracted when Carmilla walks into the room and startles her. Laura gives a vague mention of her dreams from the previous night and attempts to brush it off.
Carmilla displays concern over the situation, and attempts to reassure Laura, stating that odd dreams aren't uncommon. She puts forth her own dream as evidence, citing she hs been having dreams similar to the ones that Laura suffered through the previous night. Carmilla leaves to get something to help Laura sleep, something which confuses Laura.
LaFontaine and Perry show up, looking for Carmilla in hopes they can follow her around. Laura's footage from her camera reveals some of the other traits that her mysterious roommmate has, specifically, sleeping through much of the day and being out and about throughout the night, in addition to eating a substance that is kept in a milk container along with various other foods she steals from Laura. The footage also reveals that Carmilla has unusual strength and can set fires with what looks like magic.
Carmilla returns with a charm bracelet, with, for some unknown reason, a dried bat wing tied onto it. Carmilla states that the bracelet is intended to help Laura sleep. The latter decides to ask where she goes every night, but Carmilla simply states she can't reveal her secrets, and once more departs.
