"Nancy Drew" is the ninth episode of Carmilla's first season. It aired on August 28th, 2014.
Logline[]
Laura teams up with ~her TA~ Danny to continue her investigation into the disappearing girls and notices something very strange about someone we have met before.
Synopsis[]
We're going to figure this out.
Laura takes great joy in the spike in viewership. She promises her viewers that she will find a connection between the missing girls. As they continue their work, Carmilla gives various negative comments on their progress.
Small, Tall and Broody
Laura and Danny's research has confirmed that all the girls went missing at parties, with Sarah Jane and Natalie being the only girls to have reappeared after their apparent abductions. After some digging and analysis, both girls find out that the Alchemy Club supplied equipment to all the parties.
Are you feeling okay?
Before they can confront the club members, Carmilla points out that the Alchemy Club's operators aren't physically capable of pulling off kidnappings, a point which Laura concedes to. She instead decides to interview Sarah and Natalie, managing to get the latter into her room. Unfortunately, Natalie is acting very hyper and almost drunken, which leaves Laura and Danny confused.
