Leif is a kobold that Laura Hollis encountered while exploring a cave system at some point during her time at Silas University. He wished to make her his bride, but offered her freedom on the condition she answered his riddles correctly. She managed to solve two of the three riddles he presented, and then bypassed the issue of the third by capturing him within an enchanted jar. In exchange for being given safe passage through the cave system, she offered to release him. After being released, he guided her safely back to Silas University, much to her chagrin.
